At the hardware store looking at the nuts to fix the stroller.
I find the isle with the nuts i said I was looking for.
Ainsley says, “Mom, please don’t buy these nuts. I don’t think I will like them.”
Leaving the store about to walk home, it starts to rain.
I say “oh no, we are going to get all wet. I might have t call Daddy to pick us up.”
Ainsely “ Mom, Dad cannot pick you up! You are too big! Daddy can only pick me up.”
On the walk home she hops out of the stroller while we are on a busy street.
Me “Ainsley, get back in the stroller. We are on a busy street!”
Ainsley “ No we are not on a busy street Mom.”
Me “Yes we are Ainse, see all the cars.”
Ainsley “Yes, THEY are on the street, but WE are on the SIDEWALK!”
Lesson of the day — Choose my words very carefully.
