I wish I could say we are starting to settle in. But we are still in a state of motion. Reminding myself that, this earth is not my true home, and the point is to make much of HIM, not find comfort here, has helped. It’s been all sorts of crazy lately. the fact that Mike has been home a total of 48 hours in the past 30 days has added some challenge and frustration, but also allowed the girls and I to develop a routine and relationship of helping one another. Oh and did i mention that while Mike has been living across the country we’ve been in the process of buying our first home. Hello Stressful situation!! But the light is getting brighter. The number of days until Mike returns is in the single digits now. as well as the days until we make yet another move. (hopefully the last for a long while) So I find myself in a new land, balancing packing up a household, tying up many loose ends with the new house, preparing the girls for their first day of school and chasing a toddler whose favorite game is to unpack the box while mom’s not looking. If you think of me in the days ahead, say a little prayer for me will ya? Beyond all else, I am excited for the days ahead…. so much adventure, change and possibility. I just gotta get through today first
